The Bible
Recent demographic research told us that a whopping 98% of Cracked's readership is The Gideons, so most of you need no introduction to The Bible. For the rest of you that don't split your time between our site and browsing the literature of motel rooms, The Bible is a book made of sections called “books,” and that's the least confusing part about it. Not even remotely as confusing as how the Bible uses words.
If you actually read The Bible, even stripped of religious context, it's got some fascinating stories. Famously, there's the Christmas story everyone gets wrong. Some Bible stories can be explained by science—who knew religion and science could be so miraculous together? And some Bible stories are culturally misremembered, like how angels are horror movie monsters. At least the angels aren't so horrifying their stories got erased.
