Magic: The Gathering
Magic: The Gathering came into the world after baseball cards and before Pokémon cards, a difficult interval for any card game. But with all due respect to Honus Wagner's rookie card or a holographic Charizard, MTG seems to have a different kind of staying power among nerd culture. Recently, Magic: The Gathering added new genres like Cyberpunk and gangsters to liven things up, and wow, that was a great decision. Not to mention—and come on, you knew this was coming—Magic: The Gathering has sex Easter eggs! Seaxster eggs? That's not right. Sexster eggs? That's probably a George Lucas character.
