As many of you already knew or assumed, reality television is rarely real at all. The premises, the auditions, the set-up, nearly everything is predetermined or is bent so that the producers can get the reactions they want out of the talent. What isn't well-known is how dark and seedy several reality TV productions can be. It's more than just basic crappy treatment that is sadly expected on a lot of sets. Some of these reality shows have ended careers, caused trauma, and inflicted injury on some participants.
