14 Hit Songs Artists Regret Recording

Not everyone can give 100% every day to your job. (That is, unless our boss is reading this… in that case, we are the exception to the rule; please don’t fire us.) Occasionally, we phone it in at work. Even when your job is being a musician, not every song on the album can be your favorite. You’ll probably add some filler songs, and maybe your label loves them and somehow they become a big hit. And then you’re stuck playing them for the rest of your career. Boohoo, poor little rock stars, but even a dream job has its drawbacks. (Except for ours, Boss We Respect and Admire Dearly.)
In making this list, it makes sense that successful artists would get sick of constantly performing their most famous hit so we ruled out an artist who hates their music because they’ve overplayed it, and instead focused on musicians who have admitted to not liking their actual songs.
