15 LGBTQ+ Friendly Fantasy Series To Binge Up

In a world where queer people are under attack from all angles, it's nice to know the one place they're safe is in the magical confines of fiction and fantasy. Where hippogriffs and hobgoblins fly, there's no transphobia, homophobia, or even sexism (because it's a world of fantasy), and when gravity is a mere suggestion instead of a law, why would things like the gender binary, heteronormativity, or even ableism still be a thing?
Well, okay, it is in some fiction. But not all fiction! Some fiction is full of queer folk, and magic, and unicorns, and guns, and bombs, and explosions, and absolutely no homophobia or queerphobia of any kind. Or, if it does have those things, it deals with them in a kind, compassionate and meaningful way instead of treating it like something that's just luck of the draw, part of the deal. Something to be magic'd away like a shameful spot.
When the world of wizards has you down, just know there are other places to turn for your magic fix.
