TV and movies are already a nice little escape from our day-to-day lives, but if you’re looking for a much deeper form of escapism, look no further than a great animated series or film. Those lame live-action movies and shows mostly end up in an office or in a Starbucks, but animated ones take us to wildly wacky worlds that look nothing like our own.

Toy Story 3

Cars' Lightning McQueen is an homage to a Pixar animator who passed away. His name was Glenn McQueen, and he worked at Pixar from 1994 to his death in 2002. Pixar also dedicated its 2003 movie (Finding Nemo) to him. CRACKED.COM
