Getting caught lying is an embarrassing feeling. It happens to us filthy liars all the time. We lied about our writing experience and were called out on it right away. That one wasn’t too hard to figure out. Like, look how brutal this intro blurb is right now. Luckily for us, only a handful of people knew about our fibs. 

Some of these celebrities, meanwhile, had lies heard ‘round the world.

Ed Sheeran

ED SHEERAN says a princess slashed his face LIE! CRACKED.COM According to Ed, Princess Beatrice cut his face while mock-knighting him. But James Blunt was there and he knows better: Ed was drunk, messing around, and he cut himself. We made a fancy story up; people fell for it. It was very embarrassing.

Bill O'Reilly witnessed all sorts of combat. In the Falklands, Northern Ireland, El Salvador ... News sites found he was lying. For example, he said he saw nuns get shot in the back of the head in El Salvador, but he didn't step foot in the country till months after the conflict. CRACKED.COM

Rapper Tyga claimed he grew up in Compton. Then made a video about growing up in the Valley. Tyga later said that this video was scripted. In her interview in January 2013, Miley Cyrus shocked the fans by saying she and Liam Hemsworth were married. That turned out to be a lie. Later that year, their PR reps confirmed their engagement was broken off. CRACKED COM
