On January 24th, the not-so-highly-anticipated action flick hit theaters across the nation, confirming that Gibson, previously applauded for works like Braveheart and Apocalypto, has officially lost whatever sauce he once had. “The biggest flight risk was me running out of the theater,” wrote one Letterboxd reviewer, while another questioned how Mark Wahlberg’s receding hairline managed to upstage an entire movie.
