27 of the Funniest Letterboxd Reviews of Robbie Williams’ Biopic, ‘Better Man’
After an intense stateside marketing campaign and months of TikTok discourse on what constitutes “good music,” rocker Robbie Williams’ biopic Better Man has hit American theaters, sending a handful of stateside-dwelling British nans swooning while sparking a collective “Who?” from everyone else.
Though Better Man has garnered an impressive 88 percent on Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer and a 94 percent on the site’s audience-generated Popcornmeter, the allure of a film detailing the life and times of the ex-Take That member as a CGI-rendered primate has — much like Williams’ music career — failed to take off across the pond. During its opening weekend, the biopic recouped just $1.1 million of its $110 million budget.
But while some moviegoers left theaters confused as to why this misspelled Robin Williams biopic lacked a segment on Mrs. Doubtfire, the rest headed over to Letterboxd to write these hilarious reviews.
