They say history is written by the victors, meaning it’s a little suspicious that the good guys happen to win every single time, but have they considered that maybe the good guys are just better? Listen, sometimes life is a superhero movie where the hero saves the day and the bad guy gets what’s coming to him. Whether they’re a genocidal tyrant or a lowly serial killer, we like to see them get locked up or at least be miserable for the rest of their lives, and so it shall be.

Sometimes, people just get to commit a genocide or a grisly murder or even less savory crimes and not only not get punished but live out their comfortable lives in way more peace than they deserve.
