The leaderboard at Happy Gilmore 2 is growing by the day. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dennis Dugan, the original Happy Gilmore director, will reprise his role as pro golf tour commissioner Doug Thompson. Dugan joins familiar faces like Adam Sandler, Christopher McDonald, Julie Bowen and Ben Stiller, as well as new ones like Margaret Qualley and professional golfer John Daly.
In other entertainment news, Apple TV+ released the first look of its newest comedy series from Seth Rogen. The teaser for The Studio shows Rogen as the newly appointed head of an embattled film studio. Rogen will be joined by Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn and Ike Barinholtz, and the series will air its double premiere in March, with weekly episodes to follow. This is the second collaboration between Apple and Rogen after 2023’s Platonic, which was renewed for a second season last year.
