When the Cracked higher-ups asked us to perfectly sum up five decades of SNL in one list, we smiled and nodded along while sweating profusely on the inside. What an impossible task! Managerial types love doling out ridiculous requests, don’t they? 

Our people-pleasing traits had us trying harder than ever, but 50 years of weekly shows was a bit much to encapsulate. We know they’ll be disappointed in us, but here’s a little something to hopefully please everyone else.

Phil Hartman vs. Rob Schneider
