Thank you, tropes. You’ve all had quite the career on the big and small screen. You’ve given us years of much needed entertainment, but sadly, it’s time to hang up the uniformity and make way for up-and-coming ones. Those that haven’t yet dipped into “Oh god, not this again” territory.
