‘King of the Hill’s IMDb Page May Hint at What’s Going to Happen in the Upcoming Revival

Hank. Dale. Bill. Boomhauer.

Since King of the Hill’s premiere in 1997, the Alamo-cracking residents of Rainey Street have remained largely the same, a fact that just might change come the animated series’ highly anticipated revival.

Ahead of the show’s 14th season, fans have discovered that IMDb and social media have had a whole lot to say — or at least more than Mike Judge and Greg Daniels — about the upcoming episodes. Listing several confirmed cast members, which include Judge, Pamela Adlon, Kathy Najimy and Johnny Hardwick, who reprised his role as Dale in two episodes ahead of his 2023 death, newcomer Marwan Naji is also purportedly joining the ranks of Arlen’s finest.

The specifics of his alleged roles remain a mystery, but his characters aren’t: “Muhammad” and “Saudi Guy” in the show’s premiere and “Tourist Six” in Episode Seven. That said, written under the King of the Hill Revival” page instead of the more commonly used “King of the Hill” page, it’s unclear whether Naji’s involvement — one he touted on Instagram back in 2023 — is as sure as Hank’s love of sweet lady propane.

Even so, IMDb isn’t the only source dropping hints on what this latest season may hold. Renowned voice actor Grey DeLisle made headlines after placing herself deep in the heart of Arlen last October, taking to Instagram with both a clip from the show’s wrap party and a since-deleted glimpse at a grown-up Bobby Hill

It’s still unknown whether DeLisle, who previously starred in The Fairly OddParentsAvatar: The Last Airbender and Invincible, was actually involved in the revival or was just dropping by for a good time, as Lone Star Live noted. That, though, didn’t stop fans from popping on their tinfoil hats.

To Redditor ChameleonPsychonaut, DeLisle’s short-lived post all but confirmed she’d play a role in Season 14, speculating that the actress — who remains absent from King of the Hill’s IMDb page — could possibly take over for the late Brittany Murphy in voicing Luanne Platter, or lending her talents to a teenage version of her daughter, Gracie Kleinschmidt. “By this point in the series, Gracie would be a teenager, and a big name like Grey seems like a good candidate,” they wrote on the King of the Hill subreddit. “I’d imagine Luanne and Lucky’s offspring could be ditsy, eccentric, dramatic in a way that she could no-doubt capture.”

We hear what ChameleonPsychonaut is saying, but we really won’t know if he’s right until we hear what DeLisle is saying on the show.
