This Is the One ‘SNL’ Sketch With 100 Million YouTube Views

The official Saturday Night Live YouTube channel is stocked with hundreds of sketches from the show’s five decades of comedy but only one has passed the magic 100-million view mark. Matt Foley screaming at David Spade and Christina Applegate? Nope. Andy Samberg and Chris Parnell rapping about Lazy Sunday? Not even close.

To keep you in suspense just a little longer, let’s count down the top five…

Star Wars Undercover Boss: 67 Million Views

Spider-Man Kiss: 73 Million Views

Hermione Growth Spurt: 76 Million Views

Black Jeopardy with Tom Hanks: 83 Million Views

Porn Teacher: 106 Million Views

The most viewed video on SNL’s YouTube channel is Amy Schumer’s “Porn Teacher” sketch? Really?

“Can you believe that?” the comic asked Howard Stern this week. “The most viewed SNL sketch of all time is me and Kyle Mooney.”

At first, Schumer said, she was shocked to hear that the sketch ended up in the top slot. “I’m like, No way. And I go and it’s like 100-something million. It has more than ‘Cowbell,’ you know, the most classic. Then I’m like, most people are really perverts. I get it.”

To be fair, the sketch is pretty funny as well. It’s a parody of both terrible acting in porn and stilted scripts that seem ridiculous even for sex-scene set-ups. The sketch’s great idea: Insert Aidy Bryant as a real school kid who can’t quite understand why Ricky is getting so much special attention from Teacher.

Given Stern’s public obsession with porn, the bit was right in his wheelhouse. “Who wrote that sketch?” he asked.

“Some pervert,” Schumer said with a shrug,

Given the online popularity of “Porn Teacher,” Schumer wants to bring the concept back for SNL’s 50th anniversary show but with a typical porn twist: “I’m like a realtor or something.”

Stern praised the sketch as Schumer’s “Cashmere,” the classic Led Zeppelin track that became the group’s signature song.

Schumer agreed. “That’s what my son will remember me for.”
