21 of the Best Episodes in TV History

Unless you go the limited series route, television is one of the few mediums that’s experienced mid-development. By the time you see a movie, hear a song or read a book, it’s finished. There might be sequels, but they’re stand-alone stories. A TV show, on the other hand, could theoretically go on forever. That means not every episode is going to be a home run. Some of them, however, fly so far out of the ballpark that they land in an entirely new stadium of their own.

“For me, it’s Barry, ‘ronny/lily,’” user Head_Hauncho told r/AskReddit, in which Bill Hader’s leading hitman confronts a seemingly superhuman father-daughter duo. “That is the most delightfully bonkers shit I’ve ever seen.”

They then asked, “What is the single best episode of television you’ve ever seen?” and their fellow Redditors clearly demonstrated that they need to touch grass more regularly.
