Giddy up, Michael Myers
Kramer Is Weirdly a Perfect Fit in the ‘Halloween’ Franchise

Seinfeld wasn’t a show that typically crossed over with other movie and TV franchises, except of course for Kramer’s universe shattering appearance on Mad About You and the time Jerry palled around with the cast of Oz and somehow survived.

But now, thanks to some intrepid fans, the world of Seinfeld has been (highly unofficially) combined with other famous pop-culture characters. For example, we no longer have to just imagine what it would be like if Jerry and George were droids stranded on the desert planet Tatooine.

More impressively, YouTuber Dr. Wolfula recently posted a video on social media illustrating what it would be like if Cosmo Kramer were a part of the Halloween series. While we don’t see Kramer getting hacked to death by Michael Myers — or even getting electrocuted in the dick by Busta Rhymes — the mash-up pairs Kramer with Dr. Samuel Loomis, aka the worst mental health professional in recorded history.

The brief fan edit also has Kramer present during the scene from Halloween II in which a teenager wearing the same mask as Myers is mistaken for the killer, and promptly rammed by a police car. In this version, when the poor guy bursts into flames, Cosmo casually jogs away from the crime scene.

Of course, the footage from the last part of the video comes from the episode “The Bookstore,” in which Kramer and Newman concoct a plan to run a rickshaw business using unhoused drivers who are paid sub-minimum wage. At one point, Kramer lets go of the rickshaw with Newman in it, and it careens downhill, ultimately colliding with Elaine’s ex-opium addict boyfriend.

So, arguably, Kramer fleeing that crime scene is far worse than him bailing on Dr. Loomis.

Oddly enough, this isn’t the first time that a fan has combined the worlds of Seinfeld and Halloween. The popular Seinfeld Present Day account once posted an image of Myers looming inside Jerry’s Upper West Side apartment, which would have been a hell of a way to end the show.

And someone once used the WWE 2K16 video game to see what would happen were Michael Myers to publicly wrestle Jerry Seinfeld. At the risk of spoiling a goofy YouTube video you likely didn’t know existed until just know, even without his butcher knife, Myers is ultimately victorious.

Also, is it just me, or does Michael Myers look like David Puddy wearing Michael Myers face paint?

And while we’re visiting the depths of this particularly stupid rabbit hole, the same YouTube account eventually discovered that Seinfeld could defeat Michael Myers, but only with the help of a digital Dr. Frasier Crane.

Sadly, Hollywood has yet to greenlight Halloween: Michael Myers Gets Bodyslammed by Jerry Seinfeld and Kelsey Grammer.
