George Costanza’s Parents Home Is Apparently Worth $1.5 Million

George Costanza’s Parents Home Is Apparently Worth $1.5 Million

Even amid his enraged screams of “Serenity now!” Frank Costanza and his wife, Estelle, have managed to let their money relax (to paraphrase Jerry Seinfeld’s stand-up closer in “The Stock Tip”), their iconic Queens home reportedly appreciating to upwards of $1.5 million.

Listed as 1344 Queens Boulevard, which appears to be an empty lot in the middle of one of the borough’s busiest streets, the actual house used to portray the exterior of Casa Costanza is roughly 2.5 miles away in Astoria, Queens. Located on the borough’s north side, the property’s exact price remains a mystery, as it seems to have been owned by the same family since 1977, per records from New York’s Automated City Register Information System.

This lack of importing (and exporting!) new owners, however, didn’t stop Redfin from gauging just how much the iconic New York City home would go for in 2025 — presuming the Costanzas ever moved out.

Based on data from recently sold homes in the neighborhood, picking up the Queens abode would set you back a “hoochie mama!” worthy $1,489,528

Considering the property’s history — and its prime NYC location — it’s not too bad of a deal. Playing an integral role in episodes like “The Strike,” “The Cigar Store Indian” and, of course, “The Contest,” where an ill-timed run-in between George, his mother and a copy of Glamour magazine led to a game of which Seinfeld pal could best master their own domain, the house is a major part of Seinfeld history.

And hey, if it ever hits the market, buying the iconic home is definitely another way to become a master of your own domain — so long as you have a million and a half bucks burning a hole in your pocket.
