You Need to Have Trey Parker and Matt Stone Kind of Money to Afford This New ‘South Park' Limited-Edition Watch
Do you like South Park? Are you rich? Like really rich? Are you looking for the perfect accessory to flaunt while eating sopapillas at your upcoming Casa Bonita reservation?
If so, Christmas has come early for you thanks to Unimatic’s latest launch: a $572 South Park-themed watch.
The second collab between the iconic animated series and the jewelry company, the Unimatic UT4-SP not only features Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman and Kenny McCormick in their classic bus-stop formation, five interchangeable straps and what appears to be glow-in-the-dark detailing, but also promises to plop you right in the center of the show’s 2D action.
Don't Miss
“The Modello Quattro ref. UT4-SP take(s) us back to the Rocky Mountains of central Colorado for the second collaboration with South Park,” reads the product listing for the limited-edition launch of just a mere 200 units. “Equipped with a Quartz Seiko VH31 and in-house 360-degree protection system, this bold and adventurous timepiece ensures exceptional durability even in the most rugged environments.”
While to us non-watch-heads, it’s unclear what, exactly, a Quartz Seiko VH3 entails or whether “the most rugged environments” include iconic South Park locales like Tegridy Farms or actual Mars, several fans were willing to take a gamble. Much like the brand’s 2023 Cartman-themed timepiece, which sold out within an hour of its release per Hodinkee, the new watch flew off the proverbial shelves, with versions already hitting resale sites for nearly $600.
And here we thought the best South Park-themed Christmas involved a talking piece of poo.
