22 Fictional Products We Wish Were Real

Most fiction takes place in a world at least passingly similar to our own, but they don’t always have all the same stuff. Unless a company is paying for product placement, for example, they often can’t show brand names, leading characters to order simply “a beer” and auteurs to invent brands. (Red Apple cigarette, anyone?)

Sometimes, though, whether it’s flat-out science fiction or simply a better world, fictional universes have products we could never dream of (or at least never legalize). They can do things that aren’t physically possible, or they’re very dangerous, or they just look really tasty.

For user Elranzer, the fictional holy grail is Big ‘Uns Magazine from Married… with Children. We hope they’ve since learned that there’s an entire internet for that, but in the meantime, they asked r/AskReddit, “Which fake product or brand from a movie/TV show do you wish was real?” and Reddit brought enough suggestions to fill up a whole new big-box store.
