21 Movie Mistakes That Surprisingly Made the Final Cut
Even the sweatiest, gruntiest action movie is as delicate as a ballet in that there are countless moving pieces that have to work together just right. If they don’t, everyone falls down, ankles get broken and careers are doomed. Some filmmakers cope with this daunting task by becoming obsessive and demanding take after take until not even the CinemaSins guy can find anything wrong with it. We call them “geniuses,” and the people who have to work for them “recreational users.”
Others, however, take the opposite approach. They’ve long since let their dreams of artistic achievement die, and they couldn’t give the tiniest care even if you paid them, which you have. A flubbed line of dialogue? Whatever. Costuming that keeps changing positions? Big deal. Random crew member in the background of your period piece? Who cares? Why drive yourself and everyone else nuts over something that will be forgotten as soon as everyone puts out their “Worst of the Year” lists?
But when user TheIrishninjas asked r/AskReddit, “What movie mistake is so glaringly obvious that you’re surprised it made it into the final cut?,” Reddit did remember exactly which movies simply didn’t have the budget for it.
