Working alongside Psychicworld.com to thoroughly investigate the birth charts of some of comedy’s most notable names, the tabloid discovered that those who get the biggest laughs are born between June 21st and July 22nd — the crabby Cancer.
Cancers are often categorized as the “highly sensitive and deeply emotional” type, which can be an advantage for those with self-deprecating senses of humor like Aubrey Plaza and Mindy Kaling. They’re also said to make themselves the punchline before someone else can, a crux for comics like Fortune Feimster and Gabriel Iglesias.

According to the report, water signs are naturally “attune and absorptive,” best reflected by the late, great Robin Williams’ approach to comedy. In a 2014 interview, Williams explained that “comedy starts as a spew, a kind of explosion, and then you sculpt it from there.” “It comes out of a deeper, darker side,” he continued. “Maybe it comes from anger, because I’m outraged by cruel absurdities, the hypocrisy that exists everywhere, even within yourself, where it’s hardest to see.”
