Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan to Go on the Most Family Friendly Arena Tour in Comedy History
Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan are about to break the Guinness world record for fewest cuss words in a single stand-up comedy stadium tour.
Earlier today, the pair of family-friendly, father-beloved comics announced a joint tour starting this fall that will include shows at the Chase Center in San Francisco, the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, among other mass-capacity venues. Both Emmy-winning veterans and heavy hitters of the clean comedy circuit, Seinfeld and Gaffigan in the same show will be a veritable peanut butter and jelly stuffed into a sack lunch by a doughy dad.
Don't Miss
Add Brian Regan into the mix and this tour would basically be The Kings of Comedy but for middle-aged white parents.
“Jim and I met doing Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee and have been talking about doing this for years,” Seinfeld told Deadline. “We finally made the schedules work out. Can’t wait.”
Gaffigan added, “I’m so excited to help out this unknown up-and-coming comedian who many may have never heard of. I know it will be an amazing bunch of shows.”
The announcement comes as the world anxiously awaits for information on the Seinfeld written, directed and produced Netflix comedy Unfrosted: A Pop Tart Story, in which Gaffigan is slated to appear. Presumably, Gaffigan won the role in the pastry pocket project for his experience in Hot Pockets.
