While the Patriots legend plans his unfortunately minor foray into comedy with an upcoming Netflix roast in his honor, Manning is set to one-up his once rival in the field of funny by executive producing an upcoming NBC workplace comedy named What Are the Odds?, a series set at a Las Vegas sports book. The show will be made under the banner of Manning’s entertainment company, Omaha Productions, which also produces Manningcast, a series wherein Peyton and his brother Eli provide casually hilarious commentary during Monday Night Football.
Don't Miss
No specifics have been released regarding casting choices for What Are the Odds?, but long-time fans of athletes who can legitimately make us laugh are holding out hope that Manning himself will appear on-screen, given his impressive resume for being actually funny and not just “jock reads nerd writer’s jokes off a teleprompter” funny.
