4 Games That Let You Play As Doctor Strange
The Doctor is IN… the multiverse. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is winning big at the box office. But we’re going to share a very controversial truth slash opinion with you now: Video Games > Movies. Pause for screaming. When are we going to get an epic, multiverse spanning Doctor Strange game?! Rumors abound, but we’ll believe them when we see some release dates and actual game play. While we all wait with baited breath for what could be the MCU equivalent of Kingdom Hearts; we’ve got a dose of doctor coming your way. If you need more than to just see the doctor, you need to be the doctor, check out these games.
Fortnite
Get in there, don’t be scared! You can get a sweet Doctor Strange skin right now. This game is mega popular for a reason. If you’re afraid of getting thrashed by a child, don’t be. There’s modes you can play that don’t involve opening up your game to the faceless masses. Or go to a build only creative mode and build a multiverse to your liking.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order
Nintendo
If you’re craving some game play that features Doctor Strange doing what makes him so… strange, i.e. that he has some of the coolest, mind-warpiest powers in the whole MCU, this game is for you. You can use (some of these) powers in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. The only downside is that this game is only available on Nintendo Switch, proving once again that we live in the worst timeline in the multiverse.
Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite
Capcom
Is there any video game company that is more VIDEO GAMES than Capcom? No there is not. Always stylish and extraordinarily fun, this game proves that Doctor Strange has a long history of zipping through the multiverse to beat on some Capcom suckers.
LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2
Warner Bros.
A LEGO game you say? Isn’t LEGO for baby children? Wrong jacko. Lego is for everybody, and the hilarious, clever LEGO video games prove that time and time again. Doctor Strange is a playable character here alongside many other Marvel favorites. You can play this one with the whole family watching, but it’s such a blast you’ll be glued to the screen long after the kids are down for the night.
