Mark Hamill Says He Had 'Multiple Secret Voice-Cameos' In Every 'Star Wars' Movie Since 2015
Ahh, Mark Hamill – the beloved actor behind Luke Skywalker, a certified Twitter legend, and the secret star of every Star Wars flick released over the past six years? Yep, earlier this week, Hamill revealed that his contribution to the beloved sci-fi franchise spans beyond portraying the iconic Jedi Master, with the star also lending his voice to several subtle cameos throughout The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, Rise of Skywalker, Rogue One, and Solo.
It all started when earlier this week the official Wookiepedia Twitter account took to the social platform to share a fun fact about Disney+'s hit series, The Mandalorian. "Did you know... EV-9D9 was voiced by Mark Hamill, @HamillHimself, in The Mandalorian?" read the post, alongside photos of the series' resident sadistic mechanic and Hamill in his Luke Skywalker getup.
Don't Miss
After nearly a week, the actor chimed in, noting that his Star Wars resume spans beyond the two roles. “Did you know... I voiced multiple secret voice-cameos in every #StarWars movie released since 2015?" Skywalker himself replied in a quote tweet, further specifying that he was referencing “the sequels,” Rogue One and Solo.
Yet as several fans began frantically looking for these clandestine Hamill appearances …
… IGN noted that the secret cameos may not be listed under his actual name, as last year, the star revealed that he was credited under the moniker “Patrick Williams” for each of his on-screen stints. Happy hunting, readers!
