The Last 'Falcon and the Winter Soldier' Was Already a 'Star Trek' Episode
The most recent episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier found Sam and Bucky breaking Baron Zemo out of the clink and heading to a Pleasure Island-like pirate city to track down the origins of the new crop of super soldiers. Sure there were a lot of references to past Marvel adventures, including the reappearance of Sharon Carter, who has apparently been in hiding ever since making out with her future Great Uncle, but the entire episode was suspiciously similar to a recent Star Trek episode.
The fifth episode of the sci-fi adventure series/convoluted 9/11 truther allegory Star Trek: Picard finds the titular elderly space captain searching for the origins of a new breed of androids, not unlike Sam and Bucky's quest to find out who's producing more super soldiers. Both sets of heroes then team up with a rogue outsider who can help: Seven of Nine and Baron Zemo, respectively.

The outsider then takes our heroes to a lawless neon-drenched Blade Runner-like metropolis: Stardust City/Madripoor.

The plan involves adopting aliases and wearing goofy costumes to a dive bar.

This is all in the service of getting a meeting with a female underworld kingpin who has the information they need. Oh, and as payment, they offer up their cyborg companion.

Each set of heroes eventually finds what they're looking for: a missing (and disheveled) scientist. And in the end, the outsider proves themselves untrustworthy by murdering someone in cold blood.

And both scientists end up dead, because who wants to watch a TV show about dull, un-sexy dweebs.

Hopefully, this doesn't mean that the big finale of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be a bunch of nonsense thrown together using $79 stock footage.
