29 Deleted Scenes That Would Have Changed Famous Movies

In film school, they'll tell you that a movie is written three times. The first time is on the page by a screenwriter just trying to churn out the required pages. The second time is when the film is being shot, where egos and the realities of budgets and production schedules reshape the whole thing all over again. The third time is during the edit, when brisk pacing and conveying the right information becomes the main concern. That also can mean removing scenes that no longer fit the finished product.
Here are some of the most interesting examples of scenes that didn’t end up making it into some of your favorite movies. We don’t have a multiverse view of reality to see all the possibilities, but we’d take a solid guess that very few of these movies would be any better with the cut material left in.
