15 Great Movies That Inspired Horrible TV Shows

TV shows are a great way to spend your free time. There are so many different types of TV shows that you can watch, so you're sure to find one that you enjoy. People love watching TV shows because they help them relax and escape from reality. Plus, they're a great way to bond with friends and family. What's your opinion about it? There is something about creating a movie based on a television show that just seems to go wrong more often than not. Sometimes the movie will be good, but the TV show it was based on will be terrible. Or sometimes, the movie will be terrible, and the TV show it was based on will be good.

Regardless, it's always interesting to see how two different forms of art can interpret the same story in such different ways. Westworld, Fargo, Friday Night Lights, insert your favorite example here… There have been some great movie-to-TV remakes over the years. Unfortunately, for various reasons, these 15 TV shows just couldn't capitalize on their movie's success.

Both the 1988 animated show and 1994 live-action series had less violence and gritty realism than the 1987 film, and the live-action series struggled to match the special effects. WORKING GIRL CRACKED.COM The 1988 film was nominated for Best Picture and its lead, Melanie Griffith was nominated for Best Actress.
