‘People are happier on weekends’
Sometimes, scientific breakthroughs are the result of a remarkably important question followed by painstaking work to find the answer. Other times, the question is so unremarkable I’m surprised the study’s conclusion wasn’t met with a resounding “Duh!” in the lab.
Case in point: One Redditor cited an embarrassingly recent study that deduced wealthy people live longer than poor people. I mean, for sure, dude. Thanks for making it official, I guess?
