25 of the Most Impressive Scenes in Movie History

When you’re shoveling popcorn into your mouth, it’s easy to forget you’re watching the culmination of millions of dollars and the efforts of hundreds of people, all of whom have to coordinate their movements with the precision of an army hummingbird to not ruin the scene. Sometimes, though, it’s so cool that forgetting is damn near impossible.

“It still never ceases to amaze me to see the scene of Trinity jumping out of the high-rise window at the beginning of The Matrix Reloaded,” Redditor gigglegenius told r/Movies. “Everything is perfect: the sound design, the rate of slow-motion, the perspective, and hey, for CGI at that time, it was brilliant.”

“I also found the Limitless tunnel scenes to be extremely impressive,” they continued. “I know how it was done, technically, but still, this was uncharted territory at the time. Also, the sound design, this has to fit, and yes, I think it’s incredible even for a movie like Limitless.”

They then asked, “What is the most impressive scene you have ever seen?” and the answers their fellow Redditors came up with were every bit as impressive.
