In fact, if you do too good of a job portraying a character, people might only remember them and not you. By way of examples, Redditor superassholeguy cites the characters of McLovin from Superbad and Steve Stifler from the American Pie franchise, and while we’re going to have to demand that they show some respect to Mr. Seann William Scott, you have to admit that you had to look up who played McLovin.
