George Lopez’ Haters Have Theories for Why He Now Looks Like A Mexican Karl Marx

Lopez’ new look has fans shocked and haters celebrating

According to the online hater community, taking your wife’s kidney and then (allegedly) cheating on her is bad for your body as well as your soul. Or, should I say, our body and our soul.

At 63 years of age, stand-up comedy legend and sitcom star George Lopez doesn’t have anything left to prove, and with the release of his next (and possibly final) comedy special around the corner, Lopez is looking to seize the means of celebration during the tail end of his storied career in show business. On February 18th, Amazon will release Lopez’ newest special George Lopez: Muy Catolico (Very Catholic), an hour that the George Lopez Show star has suggested could be his final one before retirement, an event that cannot come soon enough for a shockingly large corner of the internet.

Earlier this week, Lopez appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show where the comedy giant enjoyed the talk show’s customary bespoke song and walkout dance party, leading to a viral clip that had comedy fans wondering how in the world Lopez came to look like that — and how he’s able to sleep at night, too:

As Twitter users rushed to remind everyone who wasnt up-to-date on their George Lopez lore, Lopez has been in the doghouse with much of the comedy-watching internet ever since 2017 when a clip of him having a heated exchange with an audience member following an uncomfortable racist joke went viral.

During the disastrous set, Lopez said, “There are only two rules in the Latino family — don’t marry somebody Black, and don’t park in front of our house,” which provoked a woman in the front row to stand up and flip him the double-bird. Lopez began to berate the unamused audience member, yelling, “Sit your fucking ass down. ... Im talking bitch. You paid to see a show, sit your ass down. You cant take a joke youre in the wrong motherfucking place. Sit your ass down or get the fuck out of here.”

Additionally, comedy fans who follow Lopez’ personal life know that, in 2005, his now-ex-wife Ann Serrano donated one of her kidneys to the comic when a genetic disease destroyed his own. Then, five years later, Serrano filed for divorce from her famous husband, with gossip writers and insiders suggesting that his serial infidelity caused the deterioration of their marriage.

Nevertheless, Lopez keeps dancing and grooving through the sea of rumors and bad press while looking like he’s about to drop the hottest manifesto of 1848.
