21 Wikipedia Pages We Can’t Believe Are Real

Brazil nuts were called WHAT?!?!

Wikipedia is a literal scientific invention that we don’t appreciate enough. As recently as 20 years ago, if you and your friends were getting some McSalad Shakers after Christmas with the Kranks and wondering how old Jamie Lee Curtis was now, you couldn’t check. You’d just have to acknowledge that she’s keeping it tight and move on. Now, you’d find out not only how old she is but that she’s written graphic novels, owns a patent for a diaper and is technically a baroness. And they still have to run those fundraising drives.

It’s even more unbelievable when you consider that, when there’s a page for every significant person, event and object in history, there’s gonna be some truly mind-blowing ones mixed in there. You could just hit “random page” and not get bored for at least as long as it takes to convince your boss that you’re working.

That’s why user lolmysterior asked r/AskReddit, “What’s the wildest Wikipedia page that sounds too crazy to be true?”
