You know what they say: Every well-written movie is the same, but every bad movie is bad in its own way. Sometimes, it’s bad all the way through. Maybe it’s just a plot problem. A lot of that is easy for a good director to cover up, but when screenwriters screw up what most people think of as screenwriting — i.e., the dialogue — there’s no hiding.
