The Kennedy Heir Who Looks Like Dennis Reynolds Still Won’t Admit That He Looks Like Dennis Reynolds

Jack Schlossberg shot down numerous doppelgängers, but made no mention of the Five Star Man

Writer, political correspondent and social media sensation John Bouvier Kennedy "Jack" Schlossberg insists that he bears no resemblance to Penn Badgley or Adam Driver, but he’ll likely never try to claim that he doesn’t have a little Dennis Reynolds in him — because of the implication.

Earlier this year, the 31-year-old son of Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg quickly rose to online stardom for posting silly, shirtless and irreverent Instagram videos where he danced to Rihanna and mocked his cousin, former presidential candidate and current Donald Trump crony Robert F. Kennedy Jr. As is the Kennedy family tradition, Schlossberg’s meteoric ascent to the top of every left-leaning, twenty-to-thirty-something white woman’s Twitter feed was largely due to his curious charisma and his chiseled appearance, and the comments from his nearly half-million Instagram followers are typically less concerned with his political commentary in Vogue than they are with the various other celebrities he resembles.

Yesterday afternoon, the grandson of President John F. Kennedy posted an impassioned tweet clearing the air about his preferred celebrity lookalikes, shooting down many of his more common comparisons and claiming that Hollywood’s most fashionable post-Golden Age icon Audrey Hepburn is his most appropriate doppelgänger. But It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia fans were quick to point out that Schlossberg is forgetting a certain Golden God.

Seriously, its so clear to any It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia fan that the flamboyant movements in Schlossbergs many dancing videos are just echoes of Dennis brief stint as the lucrative star of Philadelphias hottest gay bar in the first-ever It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia episode “The Gang Gets Racist.” Couple that with Schlossbergs borderline maniacal diatribes on aesthetics and the male form, and Schlossberg might as well be the version of Dennis that Bruce Mathis raised in an alternate universe.

In fact, the resemblance between Schlossberg and Glenn Howerton is so strong that it briefly inspired some good old-fashioned, Pepe-Sylvia-style conspiracy theorizing within the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia fandom about Howertons heritage back when Schlossberg first achieved his internet celebrity status earlier this year. And, when Schlossberg inevitably runs for public office at some point in his life, Always Sunny fans have already picked out his official speech writer — so do.
