22 of the Funniest Moments in TV History

‘Straight out of my body and onto your plate’

If choosing your own nightly entertainment is too hard, the good news (and probably the reason) is that there’s just too much good content out there. Pick a streaming service at random, navigate to “comedy,” and throw a digital dart, and you’ll hit something funnier than you’ve ever seen in your life. In fact, there’s so much of it that you’ll never be able to watch it all in your lifetime. Even if you could, they’d still be making more after your death at an exponentially growing rate.

Wow. This became kind of a bummer.

On the bright side, the true comedy gems have definitely already been made. The oldies just hit different, made at a time when everything was fresh and the same tropes hadn’t been shot, stabbed and beaten into the ground. There are modern classics, too — the ones everyone you know has seen a thousand times. These are the titles that kept coming up when user BardInChains asked r/AskReddit, “What do you think is the single funniest moment in the history of television?”
