Someone Is Leaving Hilariously Fake ‘And Just Like That...’ Filming Notices All Over New York City

What do Mr. Bean, Jim Carrey and Garfield have in common? They’re all apparently appearing in the next season of ‘And Just Like That...’

Right now, Sex and the City fans in New York City may be able to catch a glimpse of filming for the third season of And Just Like That… They might even be able to sneak a peek at its leading lady and lauded lifestyle columnist, Garfield.

It’s no secret that the response from fans and critics to the first two seasons of And Just Like That… has not been nearly as positive as the reception that Sex and the City enjoyed for six historic seasons in the late 1990s and early aughts. Presumably, that’s why And Just Like That… developer and showrunner Michael Patrick King pestered Kim Cattrall into reprising her performance as the fan-favorite character Samantha Jones in the Season Two finale, despite the star’s repeated insistence that she’s moved on from playing the sexually empowered publicist — and from the co-stars who may or may not have hated her for decades.

So, with a nervously anticipated Season Three of And Just Like That… in production, the show’s producers made the Hail Mary move to secure a series of insane crossovers with other comedy properties, including Jim Carrey's classic film Liar, Liar, the Mr. Bean franchise and, of course, the lasagna-consuming cartoon cat who has, apparently, been Carrie Bradshaw the whole time — at least according to all these totally legit filming notices.

To recap, according to “Next Tuesday Productions,” this upcoming season of And Just Like That… will feature the bombshell revelation that Carrie is Garfield, a plot line about Carrie (Garfield?) cloning herself and then feeding herself to the clone, Carrie enlisting the services of Carreys character from Liar, Liar in a personal injury suit and Carrie going on a bad date with Mr. Bean before accidentally sending the silent English alien a nude pic afterwards.

Just imagine the carnage Miranda and Charlotte are going to unleash on Manhattan.

Simultaneously, the mysterious Next Tuesday Productions has been posting notices about other supposed shoots, including one for a Werner Herzog documentary and a midlife crisis project just about squirrels as well as another for a scene in the recently concluded sitcom Young Sheldon in which the titular child prodigy “becomes so young that he can fly for free. He goes back in time to stop Jimmy Fallon from being born.”

In light of this news, all New Yorkers should probably go out and look for more permits like this in the Brooklyn area around 1974.
