It’s Up to You to Figure Out Why Ozzy Osbourne Is ‘Fed Up’ With Britney Spears Dance Videos
It’s Britney, bitch — and she’s sending Ozzy Osbourne off the rails.
It’s no surprise that the heavy metal legend and reality TV star’s family podcast The Osbournes is a crazy train that makes the most nonsensical stops at different pop-culture topics, but the latest (or months-oldest) viral trend that has the Prince of Darkness barking at the moon will have most metalheads scratching their noggins.

On Tuesday’s episode of The Osbournes, the former front man of Black Sabbath blasted the social media presence of pop star and free woman Britney Spears for her… dancing? Like, one of the main activities that made her famous? Because she’s a pop star? God, I don’t know either.
Within the first 90 seconds of the episode, the 75-year-old heavy metal superstar began ranting about how he’s “fed up with seeing poor old Britney Spears on YouTube,” raging that he hates seeing Spears’ self-recorded dance videos pop up on his feed “every fucking day.” Spears last posted a dance video to her Instagram page six days ago, the first such clip in over two weeks.
“Save Britney!” Osbourne’s son Jack half-heartedly added to his father’s rambling, echoing the viral rallying cry in the closing days of Spears’ much-publicized conservatorship and legal battle with her own family.
Osbourne, possibly unaware that Spears’ controversial and involuntary conservatorship ended in 2021 and that her father Jaime and his managerial team could no longer compel the pop star to perform onstage or on Instagram, remarked of her viral dance videos that began to raise eyebrows last September, “You know, it’s sad. Very very sad.”
The rest of the Osbournes uttered some vague agreements to the patriarch’s partially intelligible comments on Spears’ admittedly unusual social media presence before quickly changing the subject, but it’s hard to ascertain exactly what it is about Spears’ infrequent dancing videos that inspired such a reaction from the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer. Perhaps Osbourne is months late to watching the infamous video that Spears posted of herself twirling around with prop knives late last year, and he thinks that her managers are making her perform some dangerous, bizarre new act for a Las Vegas residency.
Despite Osbourne’s concerns, Spears seems to be doing just fine in her post-conservatorship, post-divorce public life, but hey, we’re not music industry insiders like the first family of metal. Hopefully, Osbourne’s comments aren’t hints at some darker rumblings he’s heard about Spears, and he’s just being paranoid — someone should help him occupy his brain with non-Britney thoughts.
