21 People Whose Wikipedia Pages Feature Their Worst Photos
Only about two million people in all of human history are considered notable enough to have their own Wikipedia pages, so you’d have to have done something pretty amazing — or at least amazingly stupid — to get one. They’re usually accompanied by a picture, because naturally, people want to know who to imagine when they think about the guy who sold the papacy or history’s preeminent flatulist.
The thing is, if you fall into one of those niche categories, there may not be a lot of photos of you out there in the world. Or maybe you lived in a time before photography, so you had to make do with the best portrait artist you could afford (and “notable” doesn’t always equal “rich”). Or maybe you’re extremely famous and recognizable but the editor of your page hates your freaking guts. Whatever the case, when user MesopotamianWaffle asked r/AskReddit, “Who has the worst picture on their Wikipedia page?” they got some hilarious victims of the free encyclopedia in return.
