Fans Flood ‘Simpsons’ Legend Bill Oakley’s Replies After He Reveals Which ‘Simpsons’ Meme Is His Favorite
Iconic Simpsons writer Bill Oakley is also an iconic Simpsons poster who is something of a figurehead on Simpsons Twitter. It’s kind of like Milhouse having two spaghetti meals in one day.
Along with Josh Weinstein, Oakley served as showrunner for The Simpsons’ seventh and eighth seasons as well as writer for 13 Golden Age episodes, including “Bart vs. Australia,” “22 Short Films About Springfield” and both parts of “Who Shot Mr. Burns?” He’s also a bit of a beer enthusiast, having partnered with a brewery in Springfield, Oregon to produce the Albany style Steamed Hams Lager this past Memorial Day. Put simply, Oakley has The Simpsons in his DNA — and in his blood alcohol content.

Always active on social media, Oakley recently revealed to his Twitter followers which mass-posted Simpsons meme is his favorite from the show’s entire run. His choice comes from the Season Seven “Treehouse of Horror” episode, and it concerns that little wiener Milhouse:
