Robin Williams’ Son Is Selling Gut Supplements That Supposedly Help Mental Health
Joe Rogan proved that comedians can make themselves fabulously wealthy by selling brain supplements. Zak Williams is trying to find out if that skill is hereditary.
Robin Williams’ eldest son recently started a supplement company called Prepare Your Mind, or PYM for short, which seeks to alleviate suffering due to mental health issues such as depression and anxiety by improving gut health and stimulating the growth of certain crucial bacterias in the digestive tract. The actor and producer has been an active mental-health advocate since the death of his father in 2014, and he says that PYM is his next step in fighting the diseases that plagued Robin throughout his legendary life.
The younger Williams credits his wife, Olivia June Williams, for turning him on to amino acid therapy as he struggled emotionally with his father’s passing, and now their company is selling powders, pills and chewables to help others in the same way.
Don't Miss
Laughter might be the best medicine, but the Williamses believe a lemon-flavored amino-infused magnesium supplement is a close second.
