An A.I. Turned ‘Family Guy’ into A Live-Action 1980s Sitcom That’s More Freaky Than Funny
One of the weirdest genres of internet content in 2023 has to be “A.I. reimaginings of beloved properties that can never be unseen.”
The latest innovation in unsettling A.I. inventions comes courtesy of Lyrical Realms’ latest videos, “Family Guy as an '80s Live Action Family Sitcom.” The channel uses the Midjourney A.I. mostly to create mind-melting music videos for popular songs, but in this installment, they inspired the A.I. to produce an opening sequence for a live-action Family Guy adaptation that lands somewhere between Full House and Family Matters as seen through the eyes of the Son of Sam.
Don't Miss
The video is chock-full of details and Easter eggs that give it a startling level of believability, all while cursing us with the lasting image of a Chris Farley-esque Chris Griffin who looks like he just learned what a soul is, and he’s wondering if he can borrow yours. Enjoy this impressive A.I. nightmare — maybe we’ll one day be able to convince ourselves that this was all just a weird cutaway scene that went too far.
